Cookie Policy
Cookies in plain language
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working. Analytics, performance and session-recording cookies load only after your explicit consent and can be revoked at any time. No advertising. No profiling. No tracking pixels. No social media trackers.
What is a Cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Cookies let sites remember information across pages and visits. They can be technical (necessary for the site to function), analytical, performance-related, or used for advertising. This site does not use advertising cookies.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
- Session cookie — keeps your selected language and basic UI state. Deleted when you close the browser.
- CSRF protection cookie — short-lived security token used by the contact form to prevent forgery.
- Cookie consent record — stores your consent choices in browser localStorage (key
al_cookie_consent) so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Lifetime: 12 months or until you change your choices.
Optional Cookies (Loaded Only After Consent)
The cookies below are not loaded until you accept them in the cookie banner. You can reject all optional cookies and the site will work normally.
- Analytics — Yandex.Metrika:
_ym_uid(1 year, unique visitor ID),_ym_d(1 year, first-visit date),_ym_isad(2 days, ad-blocker detection). Purpose: traffic statistics. Loaded after accepting the Analytics tier. - Session recording — Yandex.Metrika webvisor:
_ym_visorc(30 minutes, recording session ID). Records cursor movements, clicks and scrolls. Loaded only after a separate explicit opt-in for the Session Recording tier.
What We Do Not Use
- No advertising or remarketing cookies
- No third-party tracking pixels
- No behavioural profiling or fingerprinting
- No social media share-tracking widgets
- No cross-site tracking — every cookie listed above is set by this domain or by the named processor in Section 03
Analytics — Yandex.Metrika
When you accept the Analytics tier, Yandex.Metrika (operated by Yandex LLC, Moscow, Russia) loads on the page and collects:
- Page URL, referrer, browser language and approximate region
- Anonymised user identifier stored in the cookies above
- Standard browser metadata (user agent, viewport size)
Data is processed in the Russian Federation. The RF is not covered by an adequacy decision under GDPR Chapter V; this international transfer relies on your explicit consent (Art. 49(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner — once revoked, the cookies are deleted on your next visit.
Session Recording — Webvisor
Session recording is loaded only after a separate explicit opt-in. The Session Recording toggle is off by default even when you click “Accept all” — Art. 9(2)(a) of the GDPR requires specific consent for this category, so you have to enable it manually in the Manage panel of the cookie banner.
What is recorded:
- Cursor movements, clicks and scroll position
- Page URL and timing of interactions
What is masked and never recorded:
- Form field contents on /contact and /book
- All self-assessment test answers (PCL-5, IES-R)
- Any element with the CSS class
ym-hide-content
Recordings are retained for 14 days and then deleted from Yandex.Metrika servers. You can revoke this consent at any time via the cookie banner.
Managing Cookies
The cookie banner is the primary control. It returns whenever the consent text materially changes, and you can re-open the Manage panel by clearing your browser’s localStorage for this site. Browser-level controls — Settings → Privacy → Cookies in every major browser — let you delete or block cookies entirely.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will not break the site, but the language preference and the cookie banner itself may re-appear on every visit.
